Delay in re-launch of online shop and mail order service

In January we paused our mail order service, including the online shop, so that we could review the service to ensure it is the best it can be.

We had hoped to re-launch the service and have products back online for autumn 2017. Unfortunately this process has taken longer than expected and whilst there was an option to implement an interim solution, we were not happy with the standard of the service as an appropriate use of RNLI funds. Therefore we’ve made the decision to delay the re-launch.

Where can you buy RNLI Christmas cards?

RNLI Christmas cards and other products are still available to purchase in over 150 of our shops around the UK and Ireland. You can locate your nearest RNLI Shop by visiting: Find my nearest shop

There is also the option to purchase RNLI Christmas cards from our existing partner, Cards For Good Causes, from early August. You will be able to order your cards both online from early August and from their 200 pop-up shops which will ‘pop-up’ around the UK from September to December. There will be nine (plus one Welsh language version) RNLI designs available online from Cards For Good Causes, which we will reveal soon. We currently can’t confirm when the RNLI’s online shop will be back up and running. However, we are doing all we can to ensure that this will be as soon as possible and that the service is fit for purpose and cost effective.
