Donation to Rhyl RNLI lifeboat station from the Pride of Wales Lodge

The Pride of Wales Lodge, Rhyl visited Rhyl lifeboat station to donate £500 towards the new Shannon class lifeboat for Rhyl.

Pride of Wales Lodge presents cheque to Rhyl RNLI Lifeboat Station and Wales Air Ambulance

As part of their continued contributions to charities, the Pride of Wales Lodge based in Rhyl was pleased to donate £500 which will go towards the new Shannon class lifeboat. The cheque was accepted on behalf of the RNLI by Coxswain Martin Jones and watched by other volunteer crew members.

Also in attendance were Wales Air Ambulance who also received a cheque for £500 from the lodge.

Rhyl RNLI Coxswain Martin Jones says: 'We would like to thank the Pride of Wales Lodge for their generous donation. It's great to see the local community being so enthusiastic about the new Shannon class lifeboat that's due to replace our current lifeboat. The donation will go towards our new boat which will help us to continue to save lives at sea off the North Wales coast'.
