Plymouth volunteer inshore lifeboat crew assist Devon and Cornwall Police
The volunteer crew of Plymouth lifeboat station were tasked at 3.53pm on Sunday 3 December.
Falmouth Coastguard requested the launch of the station's Atlantic 75 lifeboat to an incident on the River Tamar just as the all-weather lifeboat was about to deliver Santa to the Royal William Yard to greet the waiting crowd.
The volunteer crew on the B class inshore lifeboat rescued a female casualty from a vessel and she was brought ashore before being taken to hospital.
