Conwy Lifeboat received a generous donation after Lady Captains Day

Conwy RNLI lifeboat has received a generous donation of £655.80 after Conwy Golf Club held their annual Lady Captains Day event.

The local golf club had many events throughout the day and choose Conwy RNLI lifeboat as their chosen charity.

Lady Captain Denise Bithell and Madame President Judy Lambert kindly came to the station to surprise the crew with a cheque for £655.80 which was gratefully welcomed.

Press Officer and Helmsman Danny-Lee Davies said: 'We are very grateful for the kind donation which will be used to maintain training at the station.'
