Berwick-upon-Tweed Lifeboat Station operates both an all-weather and inshore lifeboat. Since the station was established in 1835, its crews have been presented with nine awards for gallantry.

Berwick and Eyemouth RNLI assist grounded vessel
Both Berwick and Eyemouth RNLI launched to assist a vessel that had run aground whilst responding to a MAYDAY call to assist a female from the water. The female was helped to safety by Berwick RNLI and, after waiting until high water, was safely re floated with the assistance of flank station, Eyemouth.
