Salisbury, Wilton and District Fundraising Branch
2018 is an important year for this branch – The Wilton branch merged with Salisbury after 45 year of working separately and we see this as a great opportunity to raise even more money from a much enlarged area.
We aim to collect about £10,000 this year and our regular events include a summer garden party, autumn coffee morning, pub nights and street collections.
This year we are adopting the Mudeford Lifeboat Station as our focus as it is at the mouth of the River Avon which runs through Salisbury.
In working together we aim to bring greater awareness of how funds raised locally are devoted to the RNLI purpose of life saving and water safety.
We are always looking for new fund raising ideas and for supporters to help the branch, if you would like to hear more about what the branch gets up to please contact Ray Stedman.
Our next event will be the Summer Garden Party at Wilton House on Thursday 21st June starting at 6.30pm. Please keep this date free as it is always a great event to enjoy the beautiful garden. James Grazebrook, a member of the RNLI council, will be speaking. Tickets are £17.50 and are available from Ray Stedman at firstname.lastname@example.org or 07930 373283, or from 3 Chapel Lane, Wylye Road, Hanging Langford, Salisbury, SP3 4PP
We are currently looking for people to help with our high street and supermarket collections.
The committee meet roughly four times per year to organise events. Further details are available from Ray Stedman.
