Maidenhead Fundraising Branch
Maidenhead and District Branch is run by a small group of local volunteers.
Our enthusiastic team organises social evenings such as quizzes, where our reputation for excellent home-cooked suppers attracts many supporters.
Supermarket collections, flag days and souvenir sales also add to our mix of activities and our collection boxes in pubs and businesses produce valuable income plus are a constant reminder of the RNLI.
Locally, individuals and other organisations raise money for us and we are happy to provide support where we can for fundraising efforts.
If you live in and around Maidenhead, and would like to help with our work to support our lifesaving volunteers, we would love to hear from you. Please contact the Secretary.
Two very special supporters, Lennie and Nellie (our window dummies kindly donated by M&S), dressed in full lifesaving gear, help attract the attention of passers-by on flag days to fill our collection boxes.
Just one good deed can make all the difference
Would you like to do something truly worthwhile with your free time for the RNLI?
We are looking for support with our local events.
We would love to hear from you and welcome you onboard.
As an established group, the Committee meets two or three times each year, one of those being the Branch Annual General Meeting, which is held in May.
